My Approach
The therapeutic process takes courage, and I admire those who are at the ready to feel it all; the good and the bad. One of my favourite authors, Glennon Doyle, writes “destruction is essential for construction . . . if we want to build the new, we must be willing to let the old burn.” By choosing to work with me, you’ll have an opportunity to experience personal growth by confronting your own discomfort – this can happen at whatever pace you so wish. I will apply my empathy, attentiveness, and insights to help you draw meaningful connections in a safe therapeutic environment.
What I value most in a client is their commitment to self-reflection and their openness to change. I aim to help clients not only navigate life’s difficulties, but proactively adopt strategies that can support their mental health. My role as your therapist? Helping you, help yourself; empowering you with the tools to step out of your ‘comfort zone’ and into your ‘growth zone’, and providing you with Support for Life.
